Easiest Hemp Milk (GF, DF, Paleo, Whole30)

1/2 cup organic hemp hearts

3-4 cups filtered water (less water for thicker, creamier milk)

1 tsp vanilla (optional but adds sweetness)

optional: 1 tbsp maple syrup, honey, or 2 dates for sweetness

for chocolate hemp milk: add 2 tbsp cacao


  1. Add hemp seeds, water, vanilla, and additional sweeteners/add-ins to a high-speed blender.

  2. Blend for 1 minute until creamy.

  3. Place a nut milk bag or fine strainer in a medium-sized pan. Pour the blended mixture into the bag to separate the milk from the pulp. Squeeze extra liquid from the bag as needed.

  4. Once all of the milk is in the pan, pour into an air-tight container and store in the fridge for up to 5 days. Shake each time before using!
